Summer holidays, bucket and spade weather and a new profile for Magniwool

Countdown to holidays!  Only 2 hours to go and then I am being whisked off down to Devon for a glorious holiday with two special girlfriends (and two of our dogs!).  Sue and I have had our eye on a spectacular cottage in North Devon ever since it was mentioned as THE cottage in Sense and Sensibility.  Several years later and much pressure from her, and today’s the day – we are setting off with the all important bucket and spade and lots of suncream, all of us are looking forward to being out of mobile phone coverage and, even better, no TV!

It has been an action packed Friday morning; a big delivery of hundreds of metres of Laura Ashley gingham is anticipated, so a big space in the barn has been made ready, two very special cashmere orders have been cut and prepared ready for finishing and sewing by Sarah on Monday and, last but not least, the hens stocked up with food and plants watered!

We took a decision earlier this year to slightly separate Magniwool from the White Cloud range; it now has its own brochure, its own website, a Facebook page and this week we wrote the very first blog.   There is a current Daily Telegraph offer of 20% off Magniwool (Code DT11) and this covers all Magniwool products, from underblankets through to mini Magniwools for pets.   Magniwool has a tremendously loyal following and this year we will be doing much more in terms of promotion and advertising for it.

Just time to dig out the sunglasses and I’m off for a week or so,  toodle pip!
