Royal Academy; David Hockney and Bubble Trade Show leads to Spring Clean!

A week of small but significant successes!  At last I have finally managed to make contact with The Royal Academy to book tickets for the David Hockney exhibition.  I had been trying intermittently for days on end, but finally got so exasperated with someone at the RA that they confessed it has been inundated and due to popular demand more timed tickets have had to be released. This is one of those instances where you just wish there was more in the way of travelling exhibitions for those of us who live outside London.  It has been described by Alastair Sooke as “a Leviathan of a show by Britain’s most popular living painter”.

Following a very succesful time at Bubble Trade Show in January, we are following up several leads and the prospect of some serious buyers coming to visit.  This has spurred on an early Spring clean!  It has involved an entire re-jig of office space and a reorganisation of sewing machines, but it is now very nearly completed and we have somehow also managed to find additional desk space for Jacquie who is now on hand to handle all trade orders.

Last but definitely not least two of the parcels that we sent out before Christmas that never found their recipients, have been returned to us!  Good old Royal Mail and Parcelforce, we think you are fantastic…
