Business news, Sheepskin news and Highland Life (minus the midges!)

The past couple of weeks have been taken up with fulfilling orders for various trade customers, amongst whom is Sophie with her pet shop in North London which seems to be flourishing and Eric in Ireland who is defying the doom-mongers and growing his business in Galway.  In between all of that we have been putting the finishing touches to various Shows that are planned over the next few months (I can’t believe we have to start thinking about Spirit of Summer at Olympia next May, now!)  Burghley Horse Trials is our next big commitment and this runs from 1st-4th September.  Although we don’t have details of our Stand Number yet, we have already had customers enquiring as to whether we shall be there, which is really rewarding.

The following review was printed recently in Highland Life; the combination of appealing photographs and enthusiastic words deserves inclusion in our Blog.   These little lambskins regularly sell well and, at times, it can be hard to source enough of them.   Only ever available in small numbers, it is a constant challenge to try to make sure more are on their way.   Thank goodness for both email, airmail and Maurice!  Maurice is our contact in New Zealand and although we have been corresponding and purchasing from him for 7 years, we have our first chance to meet face to face in London in August, something all of us are looking forward to.

On the subject of Maurice and sheepskins, a recent enquiry for a sheepskin bed cover made me think that perhaps this is a new product line that might be worth consideration …
