I am looking for an "old fashioned blanket" - is this the one you would recommend?

I notice the weave on this is closer than on the large sizes in the Traditional range, why?

To prevent small infants and babies having their fingers caught in the weave, this blanket is woven with a much closer finish

Are these available in other colours?

No, and even if they were, we would probably recommend the natural cream colour of the wool
